After reading books from cover to cover, highlighting notes and making notes on said highlighted notes, I had come to the realisation that the tedious process was not sustainable. Coincidentally, my dad had introduced me to a concept called the 80/20 Principle. It states that the most important 20% will produce 80% of the results. Essentially, focus on what's important. He showed me this YouTube channel that succinctly summarises self-help books in the form of mindmaps.

How apt to distill the most important 20% (or less) of a book! I have amended the mindmaps he provided to my liking but feel free to check him out.
